the Shrinking Spaceman

plot
After accidentally cutting his finger with a piece of meteorite he took from the asteroid Pallas, Husky becomes ill and begins to shrink.  Professor Haggerty places him in a freezer while he searches for a cure.  Meanwhile, Raeburn allocates another Martian to Dart’s crew and sends him on a mission to Jupiter, where Joe is bitten by a snake.  Joe tells Dart that the pebbles the loomis play with are the only cure for Jovian snakebite.  When he and Slim return with the pebble, Joe tells him that without it he would have begun to shrink.  Dart and Slim realize that this may be of use in trying to help Husky.  They take the remainder of the pebble back to Haggerty, who is able to find a cure.

notes
This episode appears to be set after episode 13, the Swamps of Jupiter, since Dart and Husky clearly have not met Joe before the events in that episode.
