In this picture is Charles Solarek on right, a man named Kellet in middle and man named Giope on left. Place was White Hat's Club, Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, July 22, 1954. Donated by Charles Solarek.

This is of Wayne Singpiel as coxwain of the ship's liberty whaleboat while in the Med. in 1955.
This is of Wayne Singpiel at the rudder in 1955. It was taken by Ensign Horvath (he think's) and is in the cruise book as well.
Photo taken in the 2nd Division Compartment� in the left photo, the sailor in the rack is a guy by the name of Simmons, I think�in both cases the other sailor is Mike O'hara.
This would have been in 1955.
The attached is a photo of Myself, Wayne Singpiel, and Rusty Moores prior to the Med Trip with Admiral Cooper.
It was after this that Rusty and his family were tragically Killed in that awful accident at home!
As you know, the cruise book was dedicated to his memory.
The photo was taken in front of the Acropolis, Athens, Greece winter of 1948/49.
