Walt was intrested in art very early. He studied art and photography in Mckinley Hight School in Chicago. During the fall of 1981, Walt wanted to attempted to the enlist for military service. He was rejected because he only has sixteen years old at the time. Instead, Walt joined the Red Cross and was sent overseas to France for one year. When Walt returned from France, he began to pursue a carrer in commercial art. He started a company called Laugh O Grams, but it fell bankrupt. After that Walt headed to Hollywood to start a new carrer. Walt married with his first employees, Lillian Bounds, in Lewiston, Idaho. Disneyland Park opened in 1955. Walt also became a television pioneer, and was among the first to present full-color programming with his Wonderful World of Color in 1961.
