The Disney-MGM Studios opened its doors to the public on May 1, 1989. This 135-acre theme park is a fully functional studio that produces movies, animations, and radio broadcasts. The Disney MGM Studios is divided into 'famous' streets and areas such as: New York Street, Hollywood Boulevard, Mickey Avenue, Sunset Boulevard,and the Animation Courtyard.
