It allows for the instructor and the student to communicate privately, as in the case of grade information and counseling.
Blackboard offers templates that make it easy for educators to build a syllabus, or to post projects and assignments. It's very useful for both in-class and distance education programs. An instructor can include readings and a response sections, where questions are posted and students can then post their responses. Blackboard also provides a course map and the ability to upload photos as well as the ability to link to outside websites for inquiries.
Blackboard is not only a tool for educators. It is also a useful tool for large companies and organizations. It offers clear communication to numerous participants and the ability to organize events and plans. Meetings take up a lot of time. This is a platform where people can put together their ideas. Sometimes there are members of a group that monopolize meeting time. Blackboard allows space for everybody's thoughts and ideas.
