Warrior
There are three character
classes in Diablo, two male and one female. They are also the three
basic fighting types, a warrior, who specializes in hand-to-hand combat,
swords, shields, and etc. A rogue who specializes in ranged attack using
bows, and some magic. And a sorcerer, who specializes in magic. Each
character is very fun to play, everyone should play them all at least
once. In this section you will find details on each character.
The
warrior is the strongest class, and excels in hand-to-hand combat. His
strength allows him to weild the heaviest of equipment. The warrior
begins incredibly strong, and is probably the easiest to character to
use. In the higher levels and difficulties, the warrior begins to get
much harder, lacking ranged attacks to kill many of the dangerous ranged
creatures, who are a real pain to catch. However this should not prevent
you from playing the warrior, the warrior is very fun to play and it
does not get to difficult to not be able to play him.
The warrior is the quickest with every weapon excluding bows. Swords
& shields, or axes are the preferred weapons. I usually would use
swords for the quicker swing, and extra armor and other benefits from a
shield. Though the warrior isn't much of a spell-caster, some spells are
essential, stone curse for example. In the later levels you will love
this spell, stone cursing the monsters who try and flee. Fire Wall is
another essential, clears out rooms with ease if high level and a great
assistance to you. While playing the warrior you want to stock your
inventory with full heal potions, as you will find yourself running many
kamikaze missions.
