| Kanako
is the name of the sweet, shy little Japanese girl that was our guest
this summer. We picked her up at Denver International Airport, after a
long wait for her United Airlines flight. Her plane was here, the ground
crews were causing delays in unloading the planes.
Once we met her and tucked her safely
in bed, the Ambassadors immediately the next morning embarked on a
whirlwind experience of Colorado. They
attended the County Fair, rodeo,
toured the municipal buildings and schools of Longmont,
bussed to a Rockies Game, camped
at Estes Park, and managed to fit in various outings with their host
families.
We were exhausted from the experience,
so I imagine they were
too! |
