| Before we completed building our cedarstrip canoe named "TheCougar",
we started enjoying going places and exploring in the cedarcanvas boat. The far
right picture at the top shows Di paddling in Lake Tahoe 7 years
ago. Since then we have enjoyed annual Steamboat Lake camping
trips, trips to Moab and the canyonlands along the Colorado, the White,
Green, Yampa, Missouri Rivers, and day trips on our own Platte
River. We canoed predominately in the wood strip boat, but now own
whitewater boats that enable us to hit rocks on ocassion. |
