| Georgia on my Mind We Moved to Robins AFB Georgia in Mar 2004. We plan to finish my 20 year Air Force Career here. Our Okinawa Experience We' spent over 6 years stationed at Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan. September '97-Mar '04. It was an awesome assignment and we have lots of great memories! California Memories We began our Air Force career at Travis Air Force Base, CA located in California's fertile Central Valley. Travis is conveniently located near Fairfield CA, about midway between San Francisco & Sacramento (Sacra-tomato). We were there July '92-Sep'97. Kid's Homepage Come see how the kids are growing! | Pictured Right, is a E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft. I 'm a crew chief or Airframe & Power Plant General (APG) mechanic. I work for the 116th Maintenance Squadron (MXS). The 116th is a "blended wing." We work side by side with our Georgia Air National Guard brothers. The 116 MXS handles major inspections, and back-shop maintenance for the JSTARS. This is my first time being totally off the flightline and assigned to a back shop unit. Flightline maintenance is performed by a seperate squadron, 116 Aircraft Maintaince Squadron (AMXS).
