West Point High School North Library is located in West Point, Ms.  The student body of approximately 1000 share 2 adjoining campuses.  The majority of 11th and 12th grade classes are taught at the South Campus, while 9th and 10th graders have most classes at WPHS North.  This affords the benefit of greater choices in courses offered to all students.  Another advantage is that faculty and students from both campuses have access to TWO fully automated libraries.  Librarians Carolyn Odom and Anita Blackwell manage the South Library's collection.  Donna Pollard Foster is librarian over the North Campus.  Foster, a graduate of West Point High School  and Mississippi University for Women , holds a Masters of Education from Mississippi State University.  She has been with the West Point School System since 1984.  Prior to becoming a certified Library Media Specialist, Foster spent 12 years as a classroom teacher.  She is the creator of this webpage.
