Service projects relating to the advancement of literacy conceptualized and designed on the local level
Literacy program targeting children in the 3rd grade to assist them in developing good reading skills and a life-long love of reading.
(We basically go to a selected elementary school in the area and read with 3rd grade students several times per week during a designated month of each semester).
Started in 1912 as Settlement School in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Arrowmont is now known as a visual arts education complex � courses are available in areas from ceramics to photography.
Supported through fundraising and philanthropic events by Pi Phi.
�The Pi Beta Phi Foundation is committed to fund programs which promote the intellectual, ethical and leadership development of members of Pi Beta Phi fraternity, and through its philanthropic efforts, to benefit the larger society.�
Solicits contributions to fund programs for Pi Beta Phi and its members.
Provides monthly gifts and one-time emergency grants on a confidential basis to initiated members in extreme financial need.
Provides educational aid for alumnae continuing their education due to extreme circumstances
