Pi Beta Phi is made up of members who are either collegians (attending college or university and active in a collegiate chapter) or alumnae (initiated members who are no longer in college). Each collegiate chapter operates under a charter granted by the international fraternity, and generally with the recognition of the college or university where it is located. Individual alumnae are members for life, whether or not they join a recognized alumnae club. The fraternity encourages alumnae involvement as a way of promoting philanthropy, providing support for collegiate chapters, and ensuring the strength of the fraternity.
The Ohio Eta Chapter House Corporation manages and maintains the charming chapter house in Granville. House Corporation, working with the chapter House Manager and chapter House Director, makes sure the house is safe and welcoming for the generations of Ohio Etas that call it home.
Alumnae Advisory Committee:
The Ohio Eta Chapter's Alumnae Advisory Committee is a team of volunteer Pi Phi alumnae who serve as advisors and mentors to the chapter's Executive Council officers, assisting them in promoting the mission and values of Pi Beta Phi, in overseeing the proper functioning of the chapter, and in implementing chapter programming. AAC also coordinates the chapter's annual Founders' Day celebration in late April and hosts a yearly networking get-together for the senior class and local Ohio Eta alumnae.
