hmm, what to say about lupin? how about...he's every woman's dream! lol but its pretty much true. if ron isn't the perfect guy (which he isnt) then lupin has it down. EVERYONE loves lupin. he's so sweet, a great teacher, and cute too! :D is there anything wrong with this guy? o well...except for that werewolf thing...

so he's our favorite werewolf! hehehe. remus j lupin taught DADA in PoA. his rag~tag looks didnt bother his students, who all agreed he beat out wimps quirrell and lockhart by a mile. the only bad thing was he would get very sick about once a month, and have to take a simmering potion concocted by snape. it wasnt until the end of the year that harry, ron, and hermione discovered that lupin was a werewolf! snape *accidently* leaked out that news in the great hall, and lupin decided it was time to leave hogwarts.

so, what do we know about lupin? well, when he was a child he was bitten by a werewolf :< but dumbledore allowed him to go to hogwarts. there, he became best friends with james potter, sirius black, and peter pettigrew. when they discovered his secret, they all learned how to become animagi so they could hang out with him during the full moon. they also joined together to start moony, wormtail, padfoot, and prongs, those magical mischief makers (creators of the marauders map!). they were all great friends until after they had graduated from hogwarts~ then, on that faithful night, everything changed~ potter, found dead...pettigrew, found *dead*...black, convicted of their betrayal and murder and locked up in azkaban...leaving lupin all alone! :( he must have felt so horrible, to have lost his three childhood friends in one day! but he went on, single (how did THAT happen!) and a good person, until he happened back at hogwarts again, looking for a teaching job...and the rest is, well, history!

first description of lupin~ "the stranger was wearing an extremely shabby set of wizard's robes that had been darned in several places. he looked ill and exhausted. though quite young, his light brown hair was flecked with gray." :D hehe
