ok, ok, sorry. gomen nasai. now lets get on with the info!

i love ron so much, so much. he is so great. ron is the youngest son in his family of seven, and the second youngest child. the weasleys are very poor, and rons things mainly consist of hand me downs~ his "rat", his dress robes, etc. this would be hard on any teenage boy's ego, but then try being best friends with the most famous student at hogwarts, the one who always gets the publicity and the adventure and the money...yes, it is a hard life being ron weasley! but most of the time he gets through it by being cheerful, drop dead funny, very sarcastic, and very loyal.

in ss, ron helped harry and hermione advance to the next enchantment when he won the giant chess game by sacrificing himself. it was very lucky mcgonagall picked a chess game, because ron excels at chess!

year two at hogwarts wasn't a great year for ron as he crashed his dad's flying ford anglia into the whomping willow and nearly broke his wand in half, causing it to backfire on several occasions~ including a nasty slug~burping curse intented to be inflicted on malfoy :D

PoA was also hard on ron, as his rat, scabbers, was thought to have been eaten, then turned up alive...but was soon discovered to be peter pettigrew, the long thought dead wizard! also, year three ended nastily for ron as he broke his leg and then was dragged on it for a while :( .

no real injuries for ron in book four, but he and harry's fight was quite nasty. some of ron's jealousy and poverty issues were addressed in GoF, as well as matters of the heart :D (see below).

ron and harry became friends minutes into their first train ride to hogwarts, united by nerves and anticipation...plus a love for sweets. by the end of the first year, they were inseperatable. but ron and harry's friendship has seen more than good times. in GoF, the pair got into a big fight. harry thought it was just about his name coming out of the goblet of fire, until hermione revealed that there was more to it..."oh harry, isn't it obvious?...he's jealous!...look, it's always you who gets all the attention, you know it is...i know you dont ask for it...but~ well~ you know, ron's got all those brothers to compete against at home, and you're his best friend, and you're really famous- he's always shunted to one side whenever people see you, and he puts up with it, and he never mentions it, but i suppose this is just one time too many..." isnt that SAD!!!!!!!!!!!

but harry isnt the only one ron gets upset with. ron and hermione are almost always in a fight! book 1 and book 2, there were just random comments from ron about hermione being annoying, but in book 3 ron and hermione blew up at each othere very often over the subject of scabbers and crookshanks, often sending hermione into tears. in book 4 ron got really mad when he found out hermione was going to the ball with krum. so ron might have a stormy temper (but isnt that cute!) but he is also a very good friend.

on the subject of hermione...does ron want to be more than friends? only time will tell, but thats what most fans are hoping! how cute would that be? lol. Ron also had a crush on fleur delacor in GoF, the part~veela beauxbatons champion. when he asked her to the yule ball, she "looked at me like i was a sea slug or something". hehehe. so he ended up going with padma patil, but he spent the whole ball glaring at hermione and krum! lol. so that is really the love life of ron so far! definately more to come! :D

book 1~ i love it when ron is playing the giant chess game and he gets taken! ooo!

book 2~when he sticks up for hermione when malfoy calls her a mudblood; when he's talking about how he's afraid of spiders ("you wouldn't like it either if you'd been holding your bear and it suddenly had too many legs and...")

book 4~ when he and harry are in the fight; when he is mad about hermione and krum; when he asks krum for his autograph! lol
