Not a woman to be trifled with, the beautiful female assassin Suzuka is one of the most notorious hired killers in the universe. Because she is known to eliminate her prey by the light of the setting sun, she is sometimes called "Twilight" Suzuka. Her unique wooden sword is able to slice through most substances with ease despite its unthreatening appearance. Perhaps this capability is due to the profound skill of sword's wielder, and not the sword itself. When Gene attempts to obtain new weapons after leaving Blue Heaven, he discovers that his supplier is Suzuka's latest target. Gene fends Suzuka off and earns her reluctant respect. Later, Suzuka saves Melfina from the Kei Pirates and joins our crew of adventuring heroes on the Outlaw Star.
