Congratulation for the First Project

Manga

It's been a long time since I last bought a comic until a friend of my introduced me to Cardcaptor Sakura. At first I doubted there would be any good comics at that time, but after I saw the art of the manga, it reminded me of the art of CLAMP, although I realized that it is also a bit different than the usual CLAMP's art. But hey, it IS CLAMP's work. I always like CLAMP's work, for their beautiful art and their twisted story.

Cardcaptor Sakura was first serialized in Nakayoshi Magazine, in 1996. After that, the tankouban version is published by Kodansha Comic Deluxe - Kodansha.
There are 12 volumes all

In Indonesia, Cardcaptor Sakura is published by PT Elex Media Komputindo, in year 2000.

Kinomoto Sakura is just an ordinary 10-years-old girl who just starts her new school-year at 4th grade, when she finds a book called Clow Book in her father's basement library. When she tries to open the book, suddenly comes blinding light from the book, and a creature comes out of it. It says its name is Cerberus and it is the guardian of the book.

But something has happened while the guardian was still sleeping inside the book. The Clow Cards, the content of the book, have all escaped. Cerberus tells Sakura that the Clow Cards can bring disaster to the world if they get loose. So Cerberus decides, by the fact that Sakura can open the book because only people with magic power can open it, to make Sakura the Cardcaptor. And the adventure begins.

There is Tomoyo, Sakura' best friend, who always makes costume for Sakura whenever she will go card-capturing, and then comes a rival from HongKong, Li Shaoran. There is Sakura's older brother who always teases her, Touya and his best friend Yukito, Sakura's first love. And comes the strange substitute teacher, Kaho, only to makes everything more confusing.
