"Mega Spud"

A Taber farmer shows off a cluster of potatoes grown together to form a giant potato weighing over 10 pounds.

"Every fall people bring in their mutated vegetable to the newspaper office hoping to get a picture of it in the paper. It's difficult to convince people their oddly shaped carrot or slighly larger sunflower isn't good enough for the paper. But occasionally there are some vegetables brought it that do warrant a quick photo, like this 10 pound spud."
