This page would mostly depress you by not having any crappy no-talent pop singers. I'm here to tell you that this page is designed for people WITH ACTUAL talent, for example PLAY their own INSTRUMENT. So, here we are. Getting that crap out of our system... ha, pop singers... what can be more humorous? -Jason

Marilyn Manson

The satanic evil genius? The Outrageously Mentally Troubled? The Bast*rd who made your sons and daughters swear? Isn't that nice. But I pretty much doubt any of it is TRUE. You should have done a full inspection on your neighbours.

Marilyn Manson, real name Brian Warner, born in 5th Jan 1969. The name Marilyn Manson has its truthful meaning, 'tis the essence of good and evil. Marilyn Monroe, a white woman with a heart of angelic feathers, smiles and a air vent that blows her skirt. Then came Charles Manson, the black mass murderer, disliked by nature, hated for his existence, but most teenagers would call him a hero or something, you know, just to act as if they are *the toughest*. I never get the jokes. So, it has already filled your brain with two things, good and evil, black and white.

This is John 5, the guitarist of the band. But I heard he was fired now...

At first, he attempted to act the way he is now by joining a band *the Spookyboys*, which he promoted so badly. Up the stage they went, in pubs, other people's concert, and the turning point of his career, the radio station. One day, they were interviewed by the radio station, they requested to play one of their songs, named The Monkey, or something of the form. The DJ thought a bunch of no good, badly dressed punks and their rock'em songs is gonna stink out their station. They played one, and once. They were then expecting complains, moans, nags and possibly a kick in the arse by one of their boss. The outcome was phenomenal, they had so many callers asking about which band was that and what was the song's name again.

From there, Marilyn Manson gotten his fame. Soon enough, he was to abandon the old band and create his own, a band with only two words for the name, and better musicians: Marilyn Manson.

Day by day he had to act as this person he created, he was more and more addicted to it. Soon, he has forgotten his origin, his old life, and even his real name. This character he created, Marilyn Manson, has completely taken over his mind, all that is left of him is the body that somehow resembles Brian Warner.

Mind you, even I've heard so much crazy stuff about him and animal cruelty, that's wrong, I tell you. Someone brought up a chicken in a cage in one of his concerns, he accidentally knocked the cage down the stage and that cage was being crushed by the people, not him. And the news about him telling the crowd to tear up a puppy otherwise he won't play? That is not true.

People's been spreading rumours about this rock star just because they haven't tried to understand him, read his lyrics or even to take a second glance at him. Here I would recommend some songs that got me into his world. The Long hard road out of hell (From Spawn), Tainted Love, Fight Song, Beautiful People, and MObscene.

Seether

Seether - Disclaimer II:

1, Gasoline    2, 69 Tea    3, Fine Again    4, Needles    5, Driven Under    6, Pride    7, Sympathetic    8, Your Bore    9, Fade Away    10, Pig    11, Fuck it    12, Broken    13, Sold Me    14, Got it Made    15, Cigarette    16, Broken (featuring Amy Lee)

Seether, has released an album in 2002, named Disclaimer, it was a big hit. Two years later they released another album, named Disclaimer II, this band was never so famous since one of they songs, Broken, was requested by the movie "The Punisher" from a comic book with the same title.

The Punisher     Disclaimer    Disclaimer II

This band came from South Africa, and brought along them great musical talents to perform their best before your five senses. Their songs are mostly touching, according to the experiences one has experienced through life. The Band consists of acoustic and electric due to the way they feel about the lyrics and the mood they would consider for the lyrics. So far, they are flawless.

(The Guy with a funny smile in shades) Shaun Morgan : Vocal, Guitar

(The one with a woolly hat on) Dale Stewart : Vocal, Bass

(The one with the moustache) John Humphrey : Drums

(The one who looks thinner than anyone else) Pat Callahan : Guitar

The song that brought them to my attention was firstly Broken, it features a lady from another famous band, Amy Lee from Evanescence. First of all, I heard just the first acoustic solo as the background music from the advertisement from the television, advertising The Punisher. There was some sort of bond between the song and I, so I searched and searched, for this song I only heard the first five second of it. Finally I found this band. Funny how this album I bought took me to another level of Music Enjoyment. It doesn't necessarily take Slipknot to forget the pain from the inside, neither does it take songs with one sentence that hurts you the most, like Wind Beneath my Wings from Bette Midler, "Did you ever know that you're my hero." All it takes was to listen hard and think to the sorrow of others' instead of exaggerating your own. It's great once you get into the music, the trouble in you seems to vanish in seconds. Especially the song called Fine Again, and the jolliness of Cigarette.

This album is certainly a MUST-BUY, I truly recommend it to y'all. This CD contains from Nu Metal to acoustic, all is good. You can listen to their songs on www.seether.com

Good Charlotte

Good Charlotte - The Chronicle of Life and Death:

1, Once upon a time: The Battle Of Life and Death    2, The Chronicle of Life and Death    3, Walk Away (Maybe)    4, S.O.S.    5, I Just Wanna Live    6, Ghost of You    7, Predictable    8, Secrets    9, The Truth    10, The Word is Black    11, Mountain    12, We believe    13, It wasn't enough    14, In This World (Murder)    15, Falling Away

It has been a long time since they have released another album, from the Young and Hopeless, an album which is highly successful by stating out the teen issue in a punk style. They started on a song, a song that brought them on National Television, the famous song Lifestyle of the rich and famous took them straight to the top, you can't turn on MTV and not see them at that time. Later they filmed another music video featuring elderly acting as teenagers, where Benji wears a Slipknot t-shirt and only shows half of the name at a time. Later we found there are more videos, such as The Anthem, Motivation Proclamation, and the most touching, Hold on. The video features people who lost a member of their family, a relative or a close friend. As the two members of the Good Charlotte have lost their father at a young age, leaving behind Joel, Benji and their mother. They have wrote songs about how they hate their father, yet miss him and want him back. A great example would be Emotionless from the first album as they performed at a letter form, to their father, and wishes him to return anytime soon. These probably all of the Good Charlotte fans will know more about, here I'll stop.

Now, they have gone up another level to express their issue through their song in the newer album, named The Chronicle of Life and Death. In this packet, there's a song which they wrote to tell others about what they did over the years before they release this album. This song is called I just wanna live, setting back to the day where they played at night clubs and bars, and slowly they appear in vege-suits, handing out flyers to passer-by. Then they made a candy-arse band with their suits on. Now this song is performed in a rap and disco pace and a little hip hop in it, correct me if I'm wrong but this song isn't the best, but sure is one of the good ones.

Joel Madden : Vocal

Benji Madden : Vocal, Guitar

Billy Martin : Guitar

Paul Thomas : Bass

Chris "New Guy" : Drummer

There are plenty more songs that is worth listening to, such as Predictable. Do consider buying the album instead of downloading them from the internet, as an evil dude, I shouldn't be saying this but for the sake of musicians, buy.

Green Day

Green Day - American Idiot:

1, American Idiot    2, Jesus of Suburbia    3, City of the Damned    4, I Don't Care    5, Dearly Beloved    6, Tales of Another Broken Home    7, Holiday    8, Boulevard of Broken Dreams    9, Are We Waiting    10, St. Jimmy    11, Give me Novacaine    12, She's a Rebel    13, Extraordinary Girl    14, Letter Bomb    15, Wake Me Up When September Ends    16, The Death of St. Jimmy    17, East 12th St.    18, Nobody Likes you    19, Rock and Roll Girlfriend    20, We are Coming Home Again

"Welcome to the new kind of tension, all across the alienation." was the words from Green Day in American Idiot. Green day is the band who thinks bigger, wilder than others instead of thinking between relationships and personal feelings on a bad day. Sometimes it involved a little bit of politics (American Idiot) and sometimes about Life in general (Time of your Life). The quick Power-Chords, meaningful lyrics, courageous drumming and the somewhat awesome bass playing made Green Day as they are.

(Centre of the Picture) Billie Joe Armstrong : Vocal, Guitar

(Right of the Picture) Michael Pritchard : Backing Vocal, Bass

(Left of the Picture) Frank Edwin Wright III : Drums

Billie Joe's talent runs in his family, his father was a part-time Jazz Musician who past away of cancer when he (Billie Joe) was ten; his mother is a Country-Music Fan and Billie Joe himself used to sing in Hospitals to cheers up patients. At eleven he got his first guitar and wrote his first song at fourteen named Why Do You Want Him.

Mike Drint was born of a heroin-addicted mother, was then put up for adoption. Later, his adoptive parents divorced when he was seven, so he had a pretty rough time jumping from one parent to another. He met Billie Joe at fifth grade, and ended up working with his mother at Rod's Hickory Pit. At seventeen, he rented a room on the side of Billie's House.

TRE' Cool, the drummer, didn't have such terrible time growing up since his dad builds houses around his accommodation when Frank was young, he later joined Green Day when Al Sobrante left Green Day. I still don't know why he has his name (Frank Edwin Wright III) but as soon as I find out, I'll post it up.

Slipknot

Whether you are a teacher-loving nerd, or a devil-worshipping evil bastard, you cannot resist the beauty of Slipknot and their outrageously seething Nu-Metal music. Masked, from the beginning to just before they split up... except for the clown, silly clown.

The band was created by a smaller band named 'The Pale Ones'. Their first song was called Slipknot, then followed by several songs like Killers Are Quiet, Bi*chslap/Do Nothing, Confessions, Some Feel, Part f Me and Tattered and Torn. At this state, they still do not have masks to wear. Until they gathered enough to form a band, so they thought they might need a better name. They picked the name of their first song, Slipknot. Worn make-up and dressed up like crazy maggots. Until Shawn, one of the members started messing about with the idea to wear masks; at one small performance Shawn wore a clown mask and refused to take it off. How this idea fits in right with their 'anti' attitude and do they decided that the masks must be worn. Soon enough some member hated the music they are producing,

Anyway, they play the best Nu Metal Music I've known. People who hasn't hear of them should pay special attention to Wait and Bleed, Spit it out, My Plague, Left Behind and Everything Ends.

Sid Wilson - Turntable

Joey Jordison - Drums

Paul Grey - Bass

Chris Fehn - Percussion

James Root - Guitar

Craig Jones - Media/ Samples

Shawn Crahan - Percussion

Mick Thompson - Guitar

Corey Taylor - Vocals

Since there are nine of them in this group, I have no intention to spend so much time describing each and everyone of them, but surely you can look it up elsewhere. Sorry for the rudeness, but still. Would you spend your time writing about them? Hell, I wouldn't. I'd rather spend time listening to them.
