About the Society

"The DEAD Stamp Roleplaying Society" is a grandiose title for a small group of people who get together when we can to play roleplaying games (RPGs) such as Dungeons & Dragons and GURPS.

While there are plenty of gaming groups out there who take themselves entirely too seriously you can rest assured that such is not the case here. We do not have a formal recruitment process, officers, or formal meetings. What we do have is the camaraderie of friends who share a common hobby.

Where did the name come from?

Why the name "DEAD Stamp"? Well, one of our primary Game Masters (GMs), Dave P., has a rubber stamp in his dice box that is rather infamous among his various players. It reads "DEAD" and has been used on the record sheets of many unfortunate player characters. The use of this stamp is usually preceded by a question like... "Alerted by your careless use of psionics, five angry mind flayers suddenly appear amongst your party. What are you going to do right now?"

This web site is offered by the DEAD Stamp Roleplaying Society, an American based, non-profit, non-corporate entity. The purpose of this site is to provide enjoyment, free of any charge, to those with whom we share a love of roleplaying games with and to help promote roleplaying games as a hobby. This web site is not affiliated with any corporation.
