aha, i remember, like, five hundred years ago, when i first saw this movie (and it had no subtitles) and i watched it a second time, and understood that omatsuri was telling luffy that he was alone. and my heart clenched for our darling boy as he asked, "hitori?" and that broke his heart. AWWWWWWW.

i really enjoyed this movie, even though it looked terrible. it had an emotionally gripping bossfight, and that really was the worst thing that could happen to our luffy, having his nakama taken from him. A TEAR COMES TO M'EYE.
