| interview on ufm 100.3... some extracts translated from the interview held on radio on 4 jan, saturday at 10pm. the cast present include sun xiezhi (taizi), chang shao han (xiaoxi) and gao tian chyi (gao xin)... dj: how do u find the fans here in singapore? tian chyi: very warm and friendly...some fans tried to pull my shirt and i nearly got it ripped... shao han: the same...this is the first time for me promoting overseas, and i find the experience very new and fresh. xiezhi: when we left the airport i noticed 4 - 8 cars chasing us...and those cars were like expensive cars such as bmw. i was so suprised and shocked. dj: maybe they thought that bcos u are taizi, they have to drive posh cars to get u...btw how do u find singapore? tian chyi: when we were passing by i found that the place here is very clean. shao han: we might just go shopping afterwards... dj: ur faces are all so red...had u all been drinking before u came in? xiezhi: ha no...we just had dinner and it was-- shao han: --real hot... tian chyi: chilli... xiezhi: black pepper chilli crab shao han: that was what i wanted to say! dj: have u all recieved any presents so far? all: no...not yet... dj: well i'm sure u will recieve a lot tomorrow. mvp valentine fans, jia you! actually i also heard that right now there are already people queuing up for the autograph session at hmv heeren tomorrow. they have formed four long queues... xiezhi: actually u don't need to give us any presents, cos it's like, now everyone is working hard to earn money...if u keep ur money for ur own use that will be better. shao han: or use it to buy our vcds... xiezhi: if u haven't bought the soundtrack that's ok cos 5566's First Album is out and the four songs are also in that album. and actually idol-chasing is a good thing, but the most important thing is ur own safety, and don't get into trouble because of it. dj: shao han, u have stayed here in singapore before? someone asks where did u stay and which school did u study in? shao han: actually i can't remember anything...i can only remember that i shopped a lot in my 1 year stay in singapore. dj: alright, now here on channel u, we are still showing my mvp valentine, and the show's come to the part where angel once again tries to cause a misunderstanding between u and chenfeng by pretending to fall down...in all her attempts to come between u and chenfeng, which was the most interesting scene, the climate of it all? xiezhi (jokingly): i don't think u should ask her. she can't remember anything. - laughs from everyone - shao han: actually i think that was the part. dj: i think i've asked the wrong person. - laughs again - dj: so now as the show is still on, some of the fans are rather curious as to what will happen next. will u like to expose some of the secrets? xiezhi: we'll like to keep some of the suspense, and as some fans have already bought the vcds and finsked watching the whole series, i think we need not reveal the ending. so in the end whether xiaoxi ends up with taizi, or does not go with either, or both taizi and chenfeng remain with her--will be up to u to guess. dj: tian chyi, let's talk about ur character gao xin. what happens to him later? tian chyi: well, gao xin later falls in love with a girl... dj: does the relationship have a happy or sad ending? tian chyi: happy ending...but i got beaten up at the end... xiezhi: actually the second part of the drama is really interesting, especially the last few episodes. u really have to watch it... tian chyi: yes, the final basketball match that part... xiezhi: when the production team gave us our scripts they never revealed the ending to us or hand us the scripts containing the last few episodes. even then, they wanted to keep the actors themselves in suspense. dj: shao han, someone has smsed me and she says that whenever ur character cries in the show, she will cry along as well. in real life, are u much of a cry baby? shao han: no...i never cry. i'm completely different from xiaoxi. whenever i meet some problems or are upset over something, i will calmly get over it and overcome it... xiezhi: so whenever she had to do crying scenes, she will take half a day, and the director will patiently wait for her to cry. shao han: it was very hard at first, but as time went by and the atmosphere became naturally there, it was easier for me to cry. dj: there was this part in the show when taizi and xiaoxi went to this skiing grounds....i don't think it is yet shown in singapore. what do u all think of it? shao han: that was a very romantic scene. xiezhi: well in the show that skiing grounds belonged to taizi's family and taizi brought xiaoxi there because he wanted her to be the first to step onto the grounds, as it had not been opened to the public yet. dj: that part was very memorable because u weren't wearing any gloves or beanie. xiezhi: yes, and it was very cold. i had to stay in the cold like that for a day...and as taizi, i was supposed to give xiaoxi some gloves and hat and say something like, "it's cold. put this on" when i was actually freezing myself! dj: hm...shao han, in the whole show, what was the most unforgettable part? shao han: erm...i think the whole thing was very unforgettable... dj: i've asked the wrong person again... - laughs from everyone - shao han: no...hey, really....it was the whole experience that was really unforgettable for me...
