Quotes of the day:
"My god, I'm skitterbrained today." ~ me.
"Yeah, there's nothing like a little blood for a laugh." ~ Tim Burton, in the director's commentary for Sleepy Hollow.

Listening to:
Greatest Hits My apparent 'soul brother,' The Exploding Boy himself and the rest of the band (The Cure for the those not in the know. The Exploding Boy is a reference to Robert's penchant for gaining weight ~ kinda like me. ;-P)

THAT SO-CALLED AGENDA

I really hate it when people start ranting about the so-called 'homosexual agenda.' G. Gordon Liddy (why do I listen to this guy?) has been going on and on about it and the scandal in the priestly ranks of the Catholic church. Once again, he brought up the tired 'recruitment' tirade. I believe his statement was, "...if you get several of them together, they'll want to recruit more."

What do these people think goes on, the gay equivilent of Tupperware parties? (There's a pun in there somewhere.) Do they honestly think that this is an actual scenario? "Joey! You just recruited your 1000th person! What are you going to do now?"

"I'm going to DisneyLand!"

What ignorant, stupid trash.

This reminds of something that happened at the bookstore. This guy came in for a book about knights and armory. He said that it was for a kids' church group and then he immediately launched into a speech about protecting the children from homosexuals. He made it sound as if there were brightly colored caravans, complete with streamers, balloons and the whole lot (something like a demented carnival) roaming the countryside and enticing everyone they see to join them. Hell, by the time he finished, it sounded like quite a lot of fun! I was about ready to walk out the door and join these mythical homosexuals myself.
