Carbon dioxide profoundly impacts life on earth. Because carbon dioxide has unique properties and is very abundant in nature, it serves as a unifying theme for the study of many areas of biology and chemistry.
This site was created to help science teachers in middle and high school areas. Some of the information is quite technical, and some of the pages are quite fun. All in all, science teachers should be able to use various parts of this site as a resource in a number of study units.
