Using the Control Panel
Corik remembered the control panel he had glanced at as he began walking into the tunnel. It was not far back, and he figured it better to give that a shot than try to take on this tank of a machine in a frontal assault. He sprinted back, avoiding the blaster shots already coming at him from down the tunnel.
As he deflected lasers with his saber, Corik stood at the control panel. He saw two buttons. A red colored one was on the right, a blue one on the left. The buttons had symbols on them. The one on the red button was shaped like an extendable arm of the robot. The other looked like a cannon of some sort, perhaps the one in the center of the machine that had shot at him before. On top were three lights. He figured these must be indicating which buttons he pressed, so he probably would have to hit three button combination of the two symbols and colors.
A shot came extremely close to his left leg, hitting the ground in front of his foot. They were getting harder and harder to reflect as the machine drew closer, extending its right arm twice forward followed by its left. Though Corik was fascinated by the strength of the arms, he didn’t care to see them functioning anymore if it meant his life. He had to figure out the combination, and quick.
