Problems
The problems as I see them are students slacking off and falling asleep in class. One could think that the true problem here is boring teachers or bad teachers but although it could be true, it is not the case. The true problem I see is with the students themselves. The reason behind their behavior, other than possible puberty issues, is a low attention span.
So if the case is this, what causes it? Society in general. The main focus is the entertainment people see all around them. TV, the Internet, Radio, etc are main problem causers. Why? They promote the low attention span because it keeps people from being more social, it lessens the prime gift we all have - imagination. This imagination is best used when one has a large (or larger) attention span. In excercising this imagination one may be able to learn more from all around them, to find teaching more interesting and fun than they allready see it as.
