| First, before you head off blundering into the forest, you need the proper equipment. The axe you start out with is vital. I would recommend getting the wonderful rune axe. This axe can cost a whopping 20,000 gp, but it is definitely money well spent. If you cannot afford this axe, the next best axe to get is an adamanite axe, costing around 3,000 to 5,000 gp. You will be able to tell the difference of what logs you get between the two early on, but once you are in level 90 and above, it will work the same as a rune axe. Also, make sure to bring yourself a sleeping bag if you are to be cutting in RSC. You will tire easily from this skill, and may not always have a bed close by. If you are playing RS, then you need not worry about sleeping, but rather conserving your running energy when taking loads of logs back and forth from bank to trees. |
