| Dragon Ball Summary Pilaf Saga This is, of course, the first Dragon Ball season. It starts off with Bulma hitting Goku with her car. But, neither Goku nor the fish he was carrying were injured. In time, Bulma explains to Goku what the Dragon Balls are. Goku then tells Bulma about the four star Dragon Ball he owns. Bulma tries to buy the ball off of Goku in numerous ways, but Goku refuses. (In fact, she even offers to let Goku touch her panties. Goku, who at the time thought the only difference between boys and girls was that boys had tails, refused to touch her "dirty butt.") The two decide to search for the Dragon Balls together. Along the way, they make many friends, like Oolong, Yamcha (who freezes around pretty girls), Puar, Kamesennin (Muten Roshi), the Ox King and his daughter Chi-Chi (who falls in love with Goku). One instance in the series is when Goku learns a weaker version of the Kamehameha by just watching Kamesennin. Later in this series, Goku and his new friends battle the evil Emperor Pilaf. During the battle, Goku transforms into his Oozaru form and destroys Pilaf's castle. Red Ribbon Army Saga This is a short series. During this series Goku trains under Kamesennin. He also meets Kuririn, his training partner, and a weird lady named Lunch, who has multiple personalities. Goku and Kuririn train by wearing turtle shells on their backs and do various chores fore Muten Roshi. The two eventually learn the dreaded Kamehameha - A super powerful attack invented by Kamesennin that focuses a large amount of Ki energy into a beam. Later, Goku recieves training from Karin-sama, who is also called the "Cat Master". He also meets Yajirobe, an egotistical samurai who prefers eating over fighting. He uses this training to fight against the evil Dr. Gero and his Red Ribbon army. Piccolo Series This is the last series in the original Dragon Ball. This series starts off with Goku and Kuririn entering theTenkaichi-boudokai (World Martial Arts Tournament). Goku also meets Tienshenhan and Chaouzou for the first time. Goku makes it to the final round, and so does Tienshenhan. Goku is defeated; and after the match, Kuririn was murdered. Goku then goes and searches for the murderer. Meanwhile, Piccolo-Diamoho is wreaking havok on the world. Tienshenhan does battle with him, and he almost died if it weren't for Goku appearing and killing Piccolo-Diamoho. Before he died, though, Piccolo-Diamoho gave birth to Piccolo-Damioho, a "baby" version of himself which held all his memories. Piccolo-Damioho is later just called Piccolo. Sensing that Piccolo-Daimoho gave birth, Kami-sama, Earth's Guardian and Piccolo's other half, trained Goku. During that time, Goku trained in a room of time, which is the same room where the Z fighters train in the first saga of DBZ. At the next Tenkaichi-boudokai, Goku and Piccolo battled each other in the final round. Goku won, and he spared Piccolo's life. At the end of Dragon Ball, Goku and Chi-Chi get married. (Something funny: Goku thought "marry" was someting you could eat.) |
