| These are 2 more pictures of Pointe Du Hoc. When I looked over at the cliffs it was all I could do to hold back tears. The cliffs were so steep that the allies had to use Batman-like ladder guns to climb up one by one while the Germans shot down at them. | |||||||||||||||||

| This is the American cemetary for some of those who bravely lost their lives for the Germans. This was another hard place to go. I was OK until I looked at the other sides of the stones where their names are engraved. I spent most of my time at the cemetary wishing I could leave! But it was kind of cool setting foot on American soil while in France! | |||||||||||||||||

| Left This is the club that we went to in Rouen. It was really fun! We danced, and I sang "Rainy Days and Mondays" in their Karaoke bar. Right These are some really cool looking buildings in Rouen. I just really liked the way they looked. |

| Left This is the church of Joan of Arc. The really neat thing abut the church is its windows. The windows are made from stained glass collected from other churches through France that were demolished in bombings, etc. during WWII. Right This was a beautiful statue I saw in the Louvre. |
