Most of the following pictures were taken of paintings or sculptures on the walls and ceilings of Versailles.  I was very unimpreessed with the outside of the castle, but the inside was absolutely beautiful!
This is Amanda and me in the best restaurant we ate at on our trip.  It was called Bistro Romane (or something like that), and they had the best dessert!  The tables were also very cute.  This was our second day in Paris.
Right   This is Notre Dame de Paris.  I also took this picture on my boat tour.  I was suprised this camd out as well as it did because it was pouring rain the entire time we were on the boat!
Left   This is yet another Notre Dame, although this time it is Notre Dame de Chatres.  This was an absolutely beautiful church!  I went on a tour of it and I was told some stories behind the sculptures and stained-glass windows.  Also inside of this church is supposedly the vail that the Virgin Mary wore.  I am still not sure if she actually wor it, but when I went inside and saw it I got the most amazing feeling!  It was an awesome experience.
Right    This is the home of the garbage collector of the town.  A very long time ago, the garbage collector would go through all of the bags of garbage and take out all of the broken glass.  He used the glass to make a mosaic of his home.  He had miniatures of all of the famous sites in France along with flowers and furniture.  It was truly a work of art.  However, if my husband did this I would definately have left him on the grounds that he was crazy (which is exactly what his wife did).
