T
he name gives you a clue that I am in fact a Gothic, as I have maybe  mentioned, there is more to being Gothic than just wearing black. The fashion side is an expression of who you are, an individuality a creativity within a lifestyle.

For most Gothics who I know, their look is as personal to them as a name. Everyone needs to have some  look thats uniquely them. That is my secret don't just wear black  to say hey im  Gothic, make it your style. Never let anyone talk you into anything you are not comfortable with. The whole point of fashion is to be able to project your personality through your physical outward appearance. Be true to yourself and most important of all feel good about how you look, if you dont like you, why should anyone else.

Hope you enjoyed my simple designs.
I will plan to make at least one of those.

At the moment my main interest in Gothic things is the Jewelry, im lucky in that I own quite a large collection. Including Pendants and handflowers, an im forever asking my folks, boyfriend an anyone else to give me jewelry items as gifts whenever they can, dont underestimate the power of Jewelry to add some creative edge to how you look.

Dont forget as a Gothic, we can buy our fashion accessories at the local hardware store, you will be just amazed what you can do with bits of ol junk...lol I have made so many additions to my jewelry collection straight from the hardware store. Be Creative!!

One other point of interest is the type of subcultures that exist, here is a list of some that im familiar with and have used to create my look. Why not take elements from each and create your own style, well thats what I did.

Period Gothic
Clothing styles from the Victorian and Medieval periods, items of clothing worn include Victorian suits, frock coats, corsets, elaborate ornate gowns. Very Romantic stuff...Ewww..lol

Industrial Gothic
The Gothic who it totally into the music side of things go for this look, an anything goes kinda look. Fetish Items, Vinyl or leather pants an bras, modern type of Gothic look.

Graveyard Gothic
Ripped and torn Gothic style clothes, basically anything old and gothic torn to shreds, this can be taken to extreme by some...lol

Gothic Fairie
Lots of glitter an sparkly things. frilly style clothing anything that looks cute. Not something Id choose...lol. But Oh well...lol

Vampiric Gothic
The Gothic vampire look. A combo of a Period Romantic Gothic look, and something from Draculas castle. Typically wear things like Morticia style dresses long cloaks some even wear fake fangs or go to the extreme of having teeth reprofiled.
