irst thing most people ask, do they exist, what are they, how can we be so certain, is what others may be thinking. Well there is no definitive answer for a skeptic. For those who are a little more open minded, well id say with a great deal of confidence, yes they do exist.

In my opinion a ghost is the spiritual existence on Earth, of a person who has died and should have left the realm of the living but has not. The exact nature and reason for them remaining may depend on the circumstance surrounding their death.

A
soul or spirit is a non-physical entity capable of perception, self-awareness, and life. Souls are often believed to be immortal and may be reborn into our world at later dates. I personally am very open minded toward this entire subject.

Reincarnation is something which is also very credible, since there are many believers and even entire religious cultures whom openly accept it as factual. I am able to personally relate to this because of my own private personal views and views of my friends. Id suggest that if anyone is interested they can go an view one of the many Websites devoted to this subject.

elief in ghosts can be traced back as far as 2,000 B.C. This first record of a ghost comes from the Babylonian story The Epic of Gilgamesh, and is etched in clay tablets. The story tells of the the hero Gilgamesh and the ghost of his dead friend, Enkidu.

Roman history has many ghost tales. Ancient Romans were careful to avoid lemures, the ghosts of people who had led evil lives, or hungry and neglected ghosts with no kin, who would prowl around houses to pick up what they could. Special festivals and rites, the Lemuria, were held in May to to feed and then banish the lemures. Drums were pounded during this ritual, as the ghosts were believed to be afraid of the noise.
