Dar El-Tifl El-Arabi

It is worth mentioning that many achievements, which were fulfilled during these two scholastic years, could not have been done without the precious donations from the contributors in and outside Palestine, and the Dar El-Tifl El-Arabi Committees in Jeddah, Amman, the U.S.A., Germany and Sweden. 

In addition to that, it is important to mention that the Welfare Association assisted in developing projects of the Institute, such as the chemistry lab, computers and kindergarten. 

Moreover, many thanks go to Regional Libardo and the European Community who helped us through the Italian Institute AICOS to reorder and improve the scientific, linguistic, health and nutrition labs, stationary, audio-visual aids, clothes, musical instruments, library aids, and medicines, in addition to paying for courses attended by students, teachers, educators and mothers.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the International Folkhogskolan Institute in Sweden, who sent us the money to cover all the expenses of fixing the aluminum frame for the dormitory’s balconies and for fixing toilets.

The German representative in Jericho has sent money to renew the sewing section and equipped it with 10 sewing machines, tables and cupboards.

It is worthy to note that Ms. Mahera Dajani has been invited by the Welfare Association to participate in the festival of “Al Quds Calling” that took place in Al-Sharja of the United Arab Emirates, under the sponsorship of his excellency Dr. Sheik Sultan Bin Mohammed El-Qasimi, Sharija head of state, during which his wife Sheikha Jawaher has contributed the sum of one million dirham and his sons with the sum of 600,000 ED.  To renovate and modernise the culture and folklore museum at Dar El-Tifl Institute.
