My Music

With me, music is a funny thing. Every few months, I would go through different bands. It's sort of a faze that I go through. Right now, I'm listening to Cold Play. The only other band that I remember that I did listen to a lot was The Strokes. Now, The Strokes are basically out of my system as in I don't really listen to them that much. Really, I don't listen to them at all. Here are some of the lyrics to someof the songs I listen to right now:

YELLOW

by Cold Play

Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And everything you do,
Yeah, they were all yellow.
I came along,
I wrote a song for you,
And all the things you do,
And it was called "Yellow."
So then I took my turn,
Oh what a thing to have done,
And it was all "Yellow."
Your skin Oh yeah,
your skin and bones, Turn into something beautiful,
You know, you know I love you so,
You know I love you so.
I swam across,
I jumped across for you,
Oh what a thing to do.
'cause you were all "Yellow,"
I drew a line,
I drew a line for you,
Oh what a thing to do,
And it was all "Yellow."
Your skin,
Oh yeah your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
And you know for you,
I'd bleed myself dry for you,
I'd bleed myself dry.
It's true, look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine.
Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And all the things that you do.

In My Place

By Cold Play

In my place, in my place,
were lines that I couldn't change,
I was lost, oh yeah.
and I was lost, I was lost,
Crossed lines I shouldn't have crossed,
I was lost, oh yeah.
Yeah, how long must she wait for it?
Yeah, how long must she pay for it?
Yeah, how long must she wait for it?
Oh for it
I was scared, I was scared,
tired and under prepared,
but Ill wait for it.
And if you go, if you go,
and leave me down here on my own,
then i'll wait for you, yeah
Yeah, how long must she wait for it?
Yeah, how long must she pay for it?
Yeah, how long must she wait for it?
Oh for it, yeah
Sing it please, please, please,
come back and sing to me,
to me, me.
Come on and sing it out, now, now.
Come on and sing it out, to me, me
come back and sing.
In my place, in my place,
were lines that I couldn't change,
I was lost, oh yeah.
Oh yeah.

The Scientist

Cold Play

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you
Tell you I need you
Tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets
And ask me your questions
Oh let's go back to the start
Running in circles
Coming up tails
Heads on a silence apart
Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh take me back to the start
I was just guessing
At numbers and figures
Pulling your puzzles apart
Questions of science
Science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
Tell me you love me
Come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start
Running in circles
Chasing our tails
Coming back as we are
Nobody said it was easy
Oh it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I'm going back to the start
