What is a hidden
disability??
Simply put, a hidden disability is exactly that-a disability that is not recognizable from the outside. There are many conditions that can be classified as hidden disabilities, these include Chronic Fatigue Syndrome-CFS (or Chronic Fatigue and Immune Difficiency Syndrome, CFIDS), Fibromyalgia, Bulimia, Anorexia, Depression, Cancer, chronic migraines, Diabetes, Arthritis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Colitis and Crohn disease), Asthma, Lupus, Chronic pain, HIV/AIDS, etc. I have definitions of each of these conditions now (links below to definitions), and I hope to have at least one informative link to a website for each condition that can explain the condition much better than I ever could since I am only familiar with a select few of these disabilities. If there is a hidden disability you believe should be on this list, please let me know and I will be more than happy to add it. It would also be a lot of help if you could give me a brief description of the condition or even a website where I could learn more about it.
