About Us

We make time for some plain and simple gimmicks to fill our weekends. Eat, catch a movie, and roam the shops, practice holding hands while walking, all at the mall. We love going to places like Power Plant in Makati, The Podium in Mandaluyong, SM (Southmall, Bacoor, Megamall, West, Robinson’s (Galleria, Manila, Imus), Greenhills, Greenbelt. We see to it that we watch movies sure seat with high fidelity broadcast and THX quality. We go eat at Hot Café and Starbucks located alongside of Kalaw and United Nation’s Avenue. It served what passed as gourmet food at prices our dates’ entry-level positions and salaries could afford. We attend basketball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum. We take a stroll along the likes of Intramuros walls & bay view watching at Roxas Blvd. in Manila.

What’s more important is that we attend weekly mass at Imus Cathedral and reflect on Christian Catholic booklets to enlighten our relationship.

We both love reading books, keeping up-to-date with the latest technological trends. We love to study and set records on our career.

We love spending time with M2X kids (Ivy’s pamangkin). We hang around & play with them pretending to be young one’s once again. Quality time with the family is really important.

The Love Story of Daniel and Ivy

Daniel and Ivy have sworn their hearts since the 15th of September in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and ninety six. Since then, their relationship have steadily develop and mature as they overcome numerous trials and difficulties. As a couple, they share many common interests, aspirations and visions in life. And they plan to raise their family in the beautiful province of Cavite where they spent most of their precious moments together.

How they met ....

It was the second week of classes in the 1st semester of AY1995, when the 19 year old Ivy attends to her electronics laboratory class at Mapua Institute of Technology. The newly graduate and on his first teaching year, Daniel happens to handle Ivy's electronics class. Recovering from chicken pox (with traces of small rashes still on her skin), Ivy captured the attention of Daniel with her unussual charm and smile her way while asking for acceptance in his class. Since then, they have a regular weekly interface during performance of electronics lab experiments.

How it develop ....

On the duration of the laboratory class, lab performance would sometime require teachers to assists their students. It so happen that occasionally, Ivy's group would request the assistance of the their Prof Daniel. Ivy's groupmates would sometime teast her to call Daniel's assistance and to assist during the troubleshooting of their circuit. These encounter's enables the two to notice the special attributes of each other. After the lab class, they have seldom see each other and ussually limited to hi-hello greetings normally occurs when Daniel passes by at the NW2nd floor lobby where IECEP HQ used to be located. It was probably the exhange of warm smile and occasional verbal communications that established a special attention to each other.

She Said…

On Marrying the Man ...
In childhood, I would describe my wonder years to be a fairy-tale and what’s missing in the story is the ever after. Now, an ordinary girl who has the love of an extra-ordinary man is a happy ending that is a blessing not showered to many.
The right man, you‘ll know that he’s the one.
Daniel and I developed our friendship with core essentials of give-and-take, acceptance, dependence & interdependence, hope, faith, & love. I cannot say we are perfect but we always end up with each other giving strength for both.
Let me share a technique when to know the marrying man, you just have to pray for it. Leave it to all circumstance. Let the natural thing happen. Then you’ll know you are physically and spiritually ready.

First Time to See Daniel ...
He used to be my professor (say in Electronics 2 lab). That time of course I’m not interested with him neither him with me. I find him cute and young (since he’s a fresh grad & terror ha ha). We became friends when I was already in my senior years. The first time we held each other’s hand because we had to cross the street, it just fits. I said yes for a steady relationship on September 15, a few days after my birth date.

On Courtship
...
The time he asked me “Can I accompany you home?” was really frantic. I wish to say no but my heart said yes. I let him undergo the hard test (He asked: Can I pass to you a resume?). He has to balance his career, studies (that time his taking Master’s of Engineering Program). Our courtship period is like in academe (I couldn’t run away from it huh!) wherein he talks about all technical subject matter and theory.

Favorite Time Spent ...
I treasure every moment we are together. People ask me why we never get tired of seeing each other I just say “Why bother?”. We are happy together. We cried a lot together, we chuckle, we dreamed of many things for our future, we studied together (hopefully we’ll continue on Ph.D.), we fight, we loved our family together, and we eat a lot. We are comfortable with each other.

Unforgettable Fight ...

What I don’t like with myself is that I find some men to be trustworthy and dishonest. May be because of the natural character of a man to become quiet. I got jealous and I demanded for explanation. We ended up not seeing each other for a weeklong. That time I got 39.5ºC fever that almost got into typhoid. He didn’t bothered showing up.

Most Romantic Moment ...
This is when we bought our first car and named it Xeo. Daniel doesn’t want me to get tired hurrying catching-up for a ride. He doesn’t want me to perspire that I might get flu or cough because of pollution problems. He is really romantic finding me my car.
Eventually we bought our first house-and-lot property. Doing our wedding preparations with our earnings is really romantic. We experienced holding with each other and coping-up through thick and thin for richer and for poorer.

The Proposal ...
We both know that we’ll end up in unity. We originally planned for a December 8, 2002 wedding but we are not ready yet financially that time and still finishing-up our Cisco studies.
He asked permit from Ate Iyam (my 2nd to the eldest sister) last May 17, 2003 during Mayflower Festival. He officially asked my family last birthday celebration of my Dad last June 15. My family then accepted us with loving will.
