8/30/98 Well Ben seems fine today, how odd. Today I added an album page for Lilith and added a pic of Dana & Fox on their album.
PS: Dana and Fox mated for the THIRD time since the birth of their latest litter = ( I guess they are just bad at reproducing. Just my luck!! I'll never have siamese = (
8/28/98 Due to the heat I may not be able to ship until October (maybe not even then, but I'm hopeful!!) If you've already sent me money, don't worry, I'm working something out. If you've already reserved gerbs, then again, don't worry, I'll work something out. But otherwise, if you're interested in some of my available gerbils I'd prefer you be willing to drive & come get them, or else be willing to wait until at least October. Anyway. Adair & Danziger finally mated again yesterday! So now I guess she's due on Sept 21st. We'll see! Ben looks kind of sick today, hmmmm = (
8/24/98 I added new pics of Adair & Danziger to their album page. Adia seems rather thin lately, I hope nothing's wrong = ( Oh BTW I forgot to mention, that I've added a picture of a burmese and a red fox to the color spectrum. Oh and the other day, Jenevieve went to her new home with Lisa = )
8/23/98 Well, due to an "oops" Marrim and Chinny WEREN'T shipped off the other day = ) They'll be sent out early Monday morning, so hopefully they'll be in Stephanie's hands on Tuesday afternoon! I've been a busy beaver today. I updated Gemedet's page, updated the links and added an Anti-Pine page!
8/21/98 I hope you like the new look! No complaining! ;) Today I shipped off Marrim and Chinny to their new home in Michigan. In a couple days, Touch, Letta, Dell and Whelan will be leaving. If anyone is interested in a nice "pet" pair of gerbil-girls I have some lovely ladies available. See my adoption page. You can of course breed them instead, if you like. Just so long as they get a good home = )
8/19/98 I apologize for somehow forgetting to upload this page yesterday = ) I changed the survey a little bit. You don't have to redo it if you don't want to. I also added a pic of a split cage to the care page.
8/18/98 Jen came down to pick up Reeve yesterday, her new name is "Minni" = ) Today I updated the adoption page, the breeder listing, and added a survey (a different one) as well as added a link to my personal page.
8/15/98 = ( Phoebe died this morning = ( Now I'm in the process of introducing Linnea to Gemedet, so neither of them will be lonely. When Gemi gets a boyfriend, and when Lilith does, I think I'm going to at least *try* to introduce Linnea to Hafwen.
8/14/98 ohhhh this is awful = ( Phoebe has seemed very listless all day today. I put her in with Linnea but she isn't perking up. She's cold to the touch and won't eat = ( I'm really worried about her....
8/13/98 Jen B. will be coming to get little Reeve on Monday. I introduced Touch to Letta (our female grey agouti visitor) yesterday, and I introduced Marrim to Chinny at the same time. Touch & Letta are going to Wisconsin with Ingrid (along with Dell & Whelan), and Marrim & Chinny are going to Michigan with Stephanie K. Today I added a new pic to Pookie's page, and some to Skittish's, updated the Color Spectrum, and added some old breeding plans to the genetics page.
8/9/98 A new color has been found in Germany! It's a new gene = ) See the pics under "blue" on Karin VanVeen's colors page. I updated the genetics, stats, and breeding pages (actually I do that a lot, I just don't bother mentioning it = ) now that I know the colors and genders of Adia's litter.
8/8/98 Kate left yesterday = ( We sure had fun, and it was neat seeing all the relatives = ) Mindy had brought over a grey agouti, "Chinny", that was supposed to go to someone along with Marrim but someone cancelled on BOTH of those so they're now available. I also have lots of other nice pups available. See the adoption page. No signs of pregnancy from Adair yet; PFFFP!
8/6/98 Well Kate & I are having fun = ) Mindy came over today, and brought over Meeshu & Madaline, so I got some Pics of Relatives. I also added some pics of Mystery to the Lautrera Litter 1 page, and some new pics on the color spectrum page.
8/4/98 Kate is here! She brought over Dana's brother & sister & neices & nephews, Danziger & Adair's brother and sister (Sierra and Whisper, who I shipped), and some doves & argente creams. We'll have lots of pics up soon of the colors that I don't have (dove, argente cream, yellow fox, burmese) and some comparisons.
8/2/98 Adia had babies! Also I add the lyrics to "her song", Adia, to her page. I also redid Phoebe's page to have some info on her cagemate-to-be, Linnea.
7/30/98 I added some new pics to Gemedet's page. Adia is due any second now and is getting pretty big = ) My guess is 5. Hopefully an agouti spot male!! I've resolved that Adair is definitely not pregnant = ( Maybe she'll have a litter in 2-3 weeks. I think it runs in her family to be sneaky. Her parents mated when Mindy didn't know it, her sister & brother mated when Kate didn't see it, so when I DID see them they decided this wasn't gonna work out and waited til I was gone = )
7/28/98 Well Phoebe was due today, but I don't think she was/is pregnant. Maybe she's just late and she'll have a pup or two tomorrow but I'm doubting it. If so I'll probably foster it to Dana. BTW hers are doing great = ) I think Adair and Danziger may have re-mated while I was away in Ohio because it's been 22 days and Adair is skinny as could be. Or maybe she'll just have one. That would be ok because I have Dana to foster too = ) and possibly Adia who is getting wider by the minute.
7/24/98 Today I added new pictures to Hafwen and Lilith's pages. Lilith & Hafwen look so cute together, I'm considering breeding Hafwen with a champagne male from Eve & Reilly (champagne looks alot like LCPN). I was going to get an agouti from Kelly Moody for Lilith but I don't think that's going to work out. I might get a siamese and put Lilith with that. It all depends. I also might pair Hafwen to something from Adair & Danziger. We'll see. I have four lovely girls up for adoption ASAP. There's Selene from Kelly Litter #1 who's a darling agouti spot girl (and she carries grey agouti!!), and 3 of her aunts, who are all argente golden. Selene would be a good match for Myst from Kelly Litter #2 if you're interested in breeding. Otherwise I can pair her up with an aunt (as they're already living together).
7/20/98 Well I'm back from my vacation. Unfortunately, Ciaran died early this morning = ( He had a large wound by his leg for the past week or so, we'd been cleaning it and taking care of him but in the end it got infected anyway. I set up a little memorial for him. Also, last Thursday I learned, while in Cinci, that there was a fire at Mia's home and all 4 of the gerbils I gave her (Mary, Johnny, Devoka, and Agana) all died of smoke inhalation = ( Not a good week . . . tho my vacation was a blast. Eve's babies are doing great. They've turned out to be 2 champagne, 2 schimmel, all female = ) Wouldn't you know it. I had lots of other lovely "girly" names I was going to use but I didn't, because I figured there'd be a boy or two, but nope!! Oh well. I might keep Linnea (champagne F) for Phoebe, but I'd prefer not to since I don't want to start the endless gerbil cycle. I'll see how Phoebe handles widowhood first, and if she's pregnant or not.
7/15/98 Well in about a half hour I'm leaving for the airport!! = ) I'm going to Cincinnati, OH for New PacifiCon 1998. I'll be there until the 20th. See you when I get back!!
7/13/98 I added a picture of Dana to the index page. I also got more pictures of Hafwen and updated the genetics page.
7/11/98 Hafwen is here!! She's so pretty = ) The pictures I took of her aren't so great so I'm going to get others tomorrow (once she's settled in with Lilith). I also got more pictures of Lisa's mystery gerbils and of Circle and his family (I bred Circle). I still have several babies available (2 schimmel Ms, 1 lilac M, and 3 argente Fs) if you're interested please see my adoption page.
7/10/98 Eve had babies! I also added a page with a map of where the Danis are.
7/8/98 Lilith is here!!! She also came with a LCPA (?) spot male named Dakota but he's just visiting = ) He's going to go to my friend along with Averone. Terahnee and Uphill made it safely to Massachusetts today = )
7/6/98 Adair & Danziger might be parents in about 25 days!!! Also the Dani Clan received an award from Pierre of Pierre's Nest = ) Well looks like I won't be getting Hafwen til next weekend, but it's just as well because I'd hate for her to be alone. Lilith will probably be sent out tomorrow, or Wednesday, so should be here by the end of the week! Eve is getting a bit roundish so she's definitely going to have a litter around the 10th, maybe with a delay. BTW I'll be away from the 15th (well I may take pics that day, if I have time) until the 20th (that's the first day I'd be able to--if I'm conscious = ) because I'm going to New PacifiCon 1998 the 2nd Earth2 convention!!

7/3/98 On Wednesday, Tomahna Kelly and Arista Lautrera went to their new home with Ashley V. of Delaware! Today I added new pictures to the pup tank page. Also one of my pictures (of Reilly Litter #1) won in the GML pic contest! I sent Kitt the money for Lilith so she should be coming sometime in the next week!
7/1/98 Today I moved the rest of the news to the old news page. I added new pictures to the Color Spectrum and one to Dana & Fox's page. Also my dad canceled the credit card my [email protected] account was on ($@%*!) so if you tried to use the form on the breeder listing or the adoption page since probably 12am on 7/1 it would have bounced. I think I've fixed it now but the account is still not up. I'm getting Hafwen (light light DEH) on Monday or so, and I'm sending Uphill (lilac male) and Terahnee (black female) to Massachusetts on Monday or Tuesday also.
