Personal Stuff

I grew up on a dairy farm in northeastern Ohio with a childhood that spanned both the McCarthy Era and the 60's. Perhaps that explains so much about my generation. The house I spent my earliest times in was, at the time, the second oldest occupied house in Mahoning County. Quite cozy if you didn't mind the fact that any heat which made its way to the second floor did so by chance and the laws of physics. Check out a more detailed view of the homestead.

I, of course, have no concept of what it would be like to grow up in a big city, let alone a small town, and people I've met who had those experiences can't imagine life on a farm as a child. Let's just say that I had a 75-acre playground, quite an amazing toy for a boy with an overactive imagination. Click here to check out the farm.
