CARGO: A sealed untility belt with four pouches encircles the waist of suit and Mission Back pack. POWER PLANT: Shinsei Industries battery which will last for 14 days powers the suit MDC MARK I MARK II Helmet 70 60 Main Torso 100 90 Arms (2) 90 50 Legs (2) 80 70 Body armor systems EXTERNAL AUDIO PICKUP: Range: 300 ft (91.5 m). A sound amplification system that can pick up normal conversation up to 300 feet away. HEAT AND RADIATION SHIELDS: Special shielding prevents the penetration of life threatening heat and radiation. A radiation detection and alarm system are linked with the shields and will sound an alarm if there is a rupture in the shields and what the levels of radiation are. IFF SIGNAL: The Armour has been fitted with an IFF, (Identification Friend or Foe,) transponder that enables other units to identify the wearer, rescue teams to locate them, and automated guns not to fire on them. The range of the signal is 400 miles (640 km). Most UN Spacy ships and variable fighters can locate and track these IFF signals, and the onboard computers will automatically notify their pilots if such a signal is detected. LOUDSPEAKER: A loudspeaker system is built into the Power Armour, which can be used to amplify the wearer's voice up to 90 decibels. OPTICS: INFRARED: Range: 2000 feet (610 m). This optical system projects a beam of infrared light that is invisible to the normal eye, but detectable by the Suit's sensors. The system allows the wearer to detect hidden/concealed objects by their IR reflectiveness. The beam will be visible to anyone with IR sensitive optics, however. OPTICS: NIGHTVISION: Range: 2000 feet (610 m). A passive light image intensifier that emits no light of its own, but relies on ambient light which is electronically amplified to produce a visible picture. OPTICS: THERMAL IMAGER: Range: 2000 feet (610 m). A passive optical heat sensor that detects infrared radiation projected by warm objects and converts that data into a false-color visible image. The system enables the suit wearer to see in the dark, in shadows, and through smoke, and also adds a +10% bonus to the use of the tracking skill. RADIO COMMUNICATION: Long range, directional communications system with satellite relay capabilities. Range: 300 miles or can be boosted indefinitely via satellite relay. SeeMotorola AN/PRC-112 Survival Radio TACTICAL LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM: The Suit is fully pressurized, and provides oxygen to the wearer through a recycling system that enables the suit to operate for up to two weeks. Water can be drunk through a special attachment to the helmet which a waterbottle will slot into creating a pressurised seal. The A Suit also functions as a g-suit that promotes blood circulation even during high-g drops, thus decreasing the possibility of the wearer blacking out BADHUD:displays combat data to user. |
