Time Traveler Mistakenly Appears on Sept.11-- 2002
NEW YORK- Harrison Monteville, time traveler from the year 2525, mistakenly appeared on September 11, 2002- one year after the infamous 9-11 day, where 3,000 people were killed at the World Trade Center.
Monteville intended to travel into the past from his own era to prevent the terrorist attack from occurring. Now, he says, he is stranded here due to a mechanical error in his time machine.
“I thought I had the proper coordinates,” he said, visibly in shock. “Something must have happened to the flux capacitator. That’s why I’m stranded here in your century as well.”
When asked why Montveville wouldn’t travel back well before September 11th, 2001- to give the people more time to avoid the attack, he became very defensive.
“It doesn’t work like that,” he yelled. “It doesn’t work like that! It had to be the day. It had to be the day.”
Psychologists that have custody of Harrison said that he is a mentally disturbed individual, who is suffering from delusions.
“The tragedy of 9/11 affected all of us, one way or the other,” said Airam al Kaeda. “In Harrison’s case, he believes that he is some sort of time explorer who tried to prevent the incident from happening.”
“We definitely know that he does not come from the future because when we asked him who won the World Series in 2002, he responded ‘The Anaheim Angels’.”
