Ja Rule Officially Sucks
by DJ Rawshark and DailySkew Music As fans of hip hop and the latest DJ mixes, we would like to express our utter disappointment and disgust with one of the hottest acts in music today -- Ja Rule. We really liked your first song, Ja, but, gosh, we're really sick of you now. We don't want to hear another Jennifer Lopez team-up. We don't want to think about how you're probably having boring sex with her right now. Your rhymes no longer have depth or meaning. Your first song really hit the mark, and moved us, spiritually and emotionally. But now, you seem to have fallen into self-aggrandizement. We don't mind that in Nelly, because he's real about who he is. Unfortunately, you tricked us into thinking you were a Zen-master follower of Ja -- now we know better. In other news ... "I'll Fly With You" [Blah, Blah remix] by Gigi DiGregorio is up for the Best Song Ever award in the DailySkew music awards. No other songs have been nominated, so far, although Britney Spears' "Slave 4 U" is being monitored closely, as is "Castle in the Sky" by Ian Van Dahl ... Previous winners include "Better Off Alone?" by Alice Deejay, and "Sun is Shining" by Bob Marley (ATB remix). Best Song Ever is not a yearly award.
It's whenever the Best Song Ever comes out. It's a random award. Songs up for
consideration for the Best Hip Hop ever include "So Fresh and So
Clean" by OutKast, and "Area Codes" by Ludricus. Previous winners
include "Hey, Must Be the Money", "Get Funked Up", "The
Real Slim Shady", "Ms. Jackson", and "B.O.B"
("Bombs Over Baghdad").... In rock news ... okay, that's enough of
that. We'll let you know when we hear something. Slipknot is coming to town
