| The Dalton Congregational Church was built in 1830. It has remained the primary place of worship in town since it was established. The photo below shows the congregation gathering for a picture for a minister who was leaving the church. The gentleman in the center is a recipient of the Boston Post Gold Cane, which was presented to the oldest person in town in many New England villages. |
