Technicalities: So yeah, maybe my hair's not that curly and I don't live in a dark gray world of gloom, but that sort of looks like me. Well, here are the real facts:
I'm 14 and I live in Chicago. New York may be the Big Apple, but Chicago is the Cool Polished Medium-Sized Apple. The skyscrapers are great. Soldier's Field....uh....um......meh.
I'm interested in art, languages, all stuff medical, science, dogs, writing, and rock climbing. I love all dogs, but dachshunds are my favorite breed. My other favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers, English Bulldogs, and Huskies. Dachshunds!!!! Yea!!!!
My favorite science authors are Natalie Angier and Oliver Sacks, and my favorite fiction authors are Ray Bradbury and a whole bunch of fantasy writers like Kenneth Oppel and J.K. Rowling, although those are very pop culture-ish. I like Ray Bradbury because of the beautiful imagery he uses, especially in The Martian Chronicles.
My favorite band of all time is the Beatles. I also like the Talking Heads- did you know that They Might Be Giants got their sound mainly from them? (If you don't know who TMBG are, you're not alone.) I like R&B too, especially talented Alicia Keys.
