| Here's all the art I've made using the Paint program. Mostly representational pictures, I have pictures of people, animals, scenes from nature, and most lately Harry Potter fanart. My goal is to someday draw every single character from the books. Below you will find a self-portrait that sort of looks like me. If you think it's beautiful (?) then it looks just like me. | Trinsanara the Meridell Gelert and Ziffandir the Meridell Zafara. Meridell is a realm of Neopia; a Gelert is a kind of Neopet. The drawing is based off of a story I'm writing, which is based on a premise/story series running on Neopets currently, which is a war between the perpetually-medieval land of Meridell and the evil land of Darigan. | Purty! C'est moi! With wings, that is. That's how I romally wear my hair, in a bun with it all coming out. Those are my glasses, and that's a black shirt that says "The Beatles" on it (it's hard to see). I originally wanted my hands to be in my pockets but misjudged, so I had these hands sticking way out, with something around the wrists. So I turned the pockets into bracelets and made myself hold a scroll of some kind...and yes, that is hair on my arms...every detail, even unpleasant ones, like Frieda Kahlo (she painted in her mustache). Can you tell the difference between the zits and the freckles? Hint: The zits are three in a straight line, like a constellation. | MS Paint again. A black angel. Can't decide whether she's evil and got kicked out of Heaven, or whether she's just a sort of faery that has black feathered wings instead of butterfly wings, or those distinctive faery wings that don't resemble anything else. I'm sorry if the image of the Les Miserables girl (Cosette?) keeps popping up in your head when you look at this...it was just supposed to be a sad, desolate black angel and look what happened! | Gray angel or black angel? I like how the wings are light black or dark gray, a sort of blend of gray and black, and how they gradually get lighter as they move outwards. I skimped on the feathers, but I still feel like there's texture there. Can you see her collarbone, those two little lines? I tried to make her eyes steely blue AND gray. | This is Serafina Pekkala, the queen of a witch clan in the far North/Arctic. She is a character from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy (you know, the Golden Compass, the Subtle Knife, the Amber Spyglass) Witches aren't humans who practice witchcraft, they're a race separate from humans. They are matriarchal and democratic, and possibly reproduce asexually since the northern witches are all female. They ride on cloud-pine branches. This scene is from The Subtle Knife, where the sky is all golden and wonky because a barrier bewteen worlds has been broken, and Serafina Pekkala is extremely angry because an evil character (who thinks she's doing good, it's strange) has been torturing a fellow witch so Serafina had to kill her to end her suffering. The swan-looking thing is Serafina's daemon (external soul), a snow goose named Kaisa. |
