The Daan Tubo informal settlement area is located along Katipunan Avenue and is beside J. Escaler St. neighborhood community. It is accessible via 2 entry points; the main entrance is located along Katipunan Avenue. And the other entry point is a narrow alley from inside J. Escaler St. neighborhood community. Daan Tubo has a total land area that is roughly about 20,000 sq. meters. The heart of the community is its one main street which is 2,000 meters long. The name Daan Tubo, according to its residents, comes from the MWSS water pipe that is located underneath this road. The community is divided into 3 areas. Area 1 is the longest in length, starting from the entrance at Katipunan Avenue and ending at the bridge over a small creek at the center of the Daan Tubo area. Area 2 starts from that bridge up to the area where the street becomes narrow and elevated. This elevated area marks the beginning of Area 3 that goes on until you reach a dead end. There are several infrastructures located in Daan Tubo like a Daycare Center, half basketball courts, stages, and a chapel. There are also several small side streets with varied sizes located along the main road.
