Dragonball Z is arguably the best anime ever made. It has been five years since the events of Dragon Ball(Dragon Ball is Dragonball Z's prequal). Dragonball Z starts off with a space pod landing on Earth. The person in the space pod is then to be revealed Dragonball Z's main character, Goku's brother who goes by the name of Raditz. He then reveals to Goku that he and Goku are from a race of the ancient warrior race known as the Saiyan who have been exterminated by Frieza who you probaly already know. Anyways Goku has to sacrifice his life to defeat his brother from taking his only son Gohan who happens to be stronger than Goku and Raditz when he gets angry and releases his true power. Piccolo the, Demon King also helps fight Raditz when he sends a new move he has created during the five year period. The Z warriors then learn that two more saiyans are on their way to Earth which should take them one year to get to Earth. So the Greatest Anime ever made begins.....
