This is one of our on-site creative expression lessons. We visited the Philippine High School for the Arts located at the National Arts Center, Los Banos Laguna. We asked our students to draw their favorite spots as seen from the mountaintop overlooking the whole Laguna and some of Makati area. |

After several exciting plates (term used for artworks in progress), the kids have already learned the basics of pencil and charcoal drawing. Some of them drew fascinating charcoal rendering of the "Langka" tree. |

Part of the workshop curriculum include field trips to interesting places such as the "National Museum of Natural History" and at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). This enhances their creative skills as well as their imagination with nature. This photo was taken at the pond area of IRRI. |

This photo was taken at the National Arts Center. This Center for the Arts is located along the slopes of Mt. Makiling overlooking Laguna de Bay, Calamba, Los Banos and even some parts of Makati and Alabang area. The kids enjoyed strolling along the paved road of the Center. |
