It's a new year! Well it's past that... almost half of the year has already gone, we're already nearing the end of April - halfway through summer. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic so bear with me.
Just as an update.... just came back from the assignment in Chile. Went on a week's vacation back home before coming back here to in Singapore, yeah, yeah, back to work again. But no sweat, I'll be leaving for Australia soon, if there are no problems with getting the visa. Estimated time of stay in Australia - roughly two months, so I'm preparing myself to spending winter there, which is just as well since it's getting way too hot here in Singapore.
What has happened lately? Nothing much, really. Met a few old friends when I was in Manila, got togethere with schoolmates way back from grade-school, and basically tried to forget about work for at least a week.
Singapore has not changed, it's still expensive - more expensive for me since I have to live in a hotel instead of an apartment, but it grows on you. There are a lot of new people at the office, so that takes a little getting used to. And I have to catch up with a lot of paperwork and keeping up-to-date with the new project. All-in-all, it's just like I've never left.
Just logged in to catch up with you, guys. Hopefully it won't take another six months before I can update this page.
