Since housing may be your first concern, please contact the Juneau Area Housing Manager, Mr. Bryan Turner, at (907) 463-2107.
If you are married, you may wish to inquire about the unit or USCG/Military Ombudsman or Spouses Clubs. They are usually happy to provide survival tips and activities to make your tour enjoyable for all the members of your household.
Please let me and your unit know if there are any changes to your orders (i.e. cancellation, arrival dates, special conditions, etc.)
Please answer the following to help me create a welcome package, including a Milepost, and define other needed services:
1. Address where you can receive information (U.S.Mail)
2. Spouse's name if married
3. Children's ages and names
4. E-mail addresses of any teens in your household who would like to be contacted by a sponsor teen in Juneau
5. Pets
6. Are any family members registered on special needs
7. Phone number in case I need to follow up with a call
8. Date of Departure from current unit
9. Date of arrival at your new Alaska Unit & unit name
10. Have you been to Alaska before (If so, when and where)
11. Name of sponsor at New Unit
12. Home E-Mail address if spouse wishes to be contacted by Ombudsman/Spouses Club
13. If you have been trained while in the CG as a CISM Peer and wish to remain active in the CISM Program, please advise us in your reply
14. If you have been trained as a Health Promotion Coordinator and are interested in continuing as one in your new unit, please advise in your reply or contact Health Promotion Manager Nancy Henry directly at (907) 463-2126, or e-mail.
