To get to Juneau, you must either fly via commercial jet, connecting in Seattle via Alaska Airlines (the only carrier coming into Juneau) or take the Alaska Marine Highway System (ferry) since Juneau is a land-locked community.  The ferry is a three-day trip from Bellingham, WA, or a one-day trip from Prince Rupert, BC.  Prince Rupert is a 1,033-mile drive from Seattle, WA
