Near 90 degree turn followed by another 90 degree turn. Due to work on the port tunnel, this leads to a narrow corridor where cyclists and pedestrians are required to share a space 1.5metres wide.
Just after this 'feature', the cycle track stops. No advance warning is given and no alternative route is provided.

Having gone round the barricade, the surface markings are absent here for no reason. Maintenance was not included in the Corporation's plans?

Following on from the previous picture, this exit is just around the blind corner, people & prams can emerge unexpectedly here.

Another detail of the dangerous exit. Note the decaying markings & lack of any warning signs for pedestrians exiting from the park.

Half the markings have vanished here, note the pedestrian walking in the bike lane.

More pedestrians in the bike lane. The glass was there for a week before being removed.

Close-up, note how the path is marked on one side only. Presumably to save paint?
No laws govern quality of surface for cycle paths.
Buses can use cycle paths too.

It's 9:20 am and this truck bearing the 'Club Orange' logo has completely blocked the cycle track approaching the 'Five Lamps' junction.

Unregistered vehicles parked in 'Pay & Display' bay outside premises of 'Tom Stafford Motors Ltd'.These have present every day since the photo was taken. It is unknown whether or not the owner of this company has any arrangement with the Corporation to be exempted from parking regulations.
Unregistered vehicles parked in 'Pay & Display' bay outside premises of 'Tom Stafford Motors Ltd'. This car has no registration plates, is not paying, displaying or showing any tax or insurance discs. Note the lack of safety gap between the lane and the parking bay.

The city-bound cycle path stops in Amiens Street, after that, you take your chances among buses & trucks. This photo was taken just before Dublin's ultra-modern financial services centre.
